These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RemiCare Ai, an AI-powered companion platform designed to provide personalized virtual avatars for patients with dementia and other medical conditions ("the Service").
Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service. By accessing or using RemiCare Ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
Remicare Ai offers different account types:
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Moderator or Enterprise account. Patient accounts may be created for individuals under 18 or those with diminished capacity, but only by a legally authorized representative.
For patients with dementia or cognitive impairment, a legally authorized representative must provide informed consent on their behalf and manage their account settings.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
RemiCare Ai provides personalized virtual avatars designed to interact with patients through video calls and chat. These AI companions are customized by Moderators to reflect specific voices, personalities, and memories to provide comfort and familiarity to patients.
You acknowledge that AI companions are artificial intelligence systems and not real people, despite their realistic appearance and behavior. The Service does not replace human care or medical treatment.
The Service includes a moderator dashboard that allows authorized users to customize avatars, track conversations, and receive alerts about patient conditions. Moderators are responsible for ensuring that all customizations and content are appropriate and accurate.

You retain ownership of any content you upload, create, or share through the Service (“User Content“). By uploading or sharing User Content, you grant RemiCare Ai a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for all User Content you provide and represent that you have all necessary rights to such content. You agree not to upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RemiCare Ai and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service or its content, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant RemiCare Ai an unlimited, irrevocable, perpetual, sublicensable, transferable, royalty-free license to use such feedback in any way without compensation to you.
As a digital health platform, RemiCare Ai is committed to protecting the privacy and security of health information. Our handling of health information is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
For Enterprise accounts and healthcare providers using our Service in the United States, RemiCare Ai offers HIPAA-compliant services. In such cases, we may enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with covered entities as required by law.
By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of personal and health information as described in our Privacy Policy. For patients with diminished capacity, consent must be provided by an authorized representative.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials.
RemiCare Ai is not a medical device, healthcare provider, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Service is designed to provide companionship and emotional support but should not be used to manage medical conditions or make healthcare decisions.
Always seek the advice of qualified healthcare providers with any questions regarding medical conditions or treatment options.
While we strive to provide helpful and accurate services, we cannot guarantee that the Service will meet your specific needs or that AI companions will always respond appropriately. The effectiveness of AI companions may vary based on individual circumstances, including the severity of cognitive impairment.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that it will be error-free. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Service, in whole or in part, at any time for maintenance, updates, or other reasons.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RemiCare Ai and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to RemiCare Ai during the 12 months preceding the claim.
RemiCare Ai offers various subscription plans for individuals and enterprises. The features, limitations, and pricing of each plan are described on our website and may be updated from time to time.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription. We may use third-party payment processors to handle transactions. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize us to charge your payment method.
You may change or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Changes will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds or credits will be provided for partial billing cycles unless required by law.
We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. If we change the pricing for your subscription, we will provide notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time. We will process such requests in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in San Francisco, California.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RemiCare Ai regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the Service or by sending an email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
